2008 Indigenous Peoples Days Info.

Four
days of sacred ceremony, traditional drumming and dancing,
contemporary native singing, panel discussions, feasting,
healing and celebrating.
From
the South Yuba River, site of the Calling Back the Salmon
Ceremony, to the Tsi Akim Maidu Cultural Center, to Miners
Foundry, all in or near Nevada City, California.
Native
peoples from tribes throughout northern California and beyond.
Bringing
together native and non native people to honor indigenous
history and culture, to heal the wounds of this history,
and to celebrate this culture.
